The Vorwerk is a breed of chicken originating in Germany. Though it is unrelated to the German company which produces the Vorwerk vacuum cleaner, it is the only chicken to share its name with a brand of household appliance. A rare fowl, it has distinctive black-and-gold plumage,  dual-purpose meat/eggs

They lay about 170 eggs per year. small white cream egg. They are a independant bird and quite adaptable. We have taken a few years to breed these birds now with 2020 being a great year we have reduced our number of hens but will continue to offer these birds to our followers in 2021 and beyond.
