The Dorking is a British breed of domestic chicken. It is named for the town of Dorking, in Surrey in southern England. dual-purpose meat/eggs

They can lay upto 140 per year. The egg size is medium – large, with the egg colour white.

They come from Italy and are a calm docile bird.

They are of short, five-toed legs and have a rectangular body. They have single comb and they are among the few chicken breeds with red earlobes.
