At Sunset Valley Chicks we are very lucky to have the rare colour lavender Orpington in bantam size alongside black Orpington bantams.

The Bantam retains the appearance of the full-size bird, but in a smaller size. There is a large variety of colours in the Bantam version. The Bantam retains the friendly personality of the Standard breed, and are great for small back yards that want good little layers. Approx. 190 eggs per year. Light brown is the shade of the egg.
